Baldur’s Gate 3 et Alan Wake 2 mènent la voie avec 8 nominations chacun dans toutes les catégories

Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4, The Legend of Zelda: Les Larmes du Royaume, Baldur’s Gate 3 et Super Mario Bros. Wonder sont en lice pour le prix principal du Jeu de l’année aux Game Awards, a annoncé Geoff Keighley lundi.

Tant Baldur’s Gate 3 qu’Alan Wake 2 sont en tête avec huit nominations dans toutes les catégories, suivis de Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 avec sept, The Legend of Zelda: Les Larmes du Royaume et Super Mario Bros. Wonder avec cinq, et Resident Evil 4 avec trois.

C’est une année importante pour Nintendo, avec un total de 15 nominations. PlayStation suit avec 13, Xbox avec 10, Epic Games avec neuf, Capcom, Larian et Square Enix avec huit, Electronic Arts avec six, et CD Projekt Red et Riot Games avec quatre nominations. À noter que l’absence remarquée dans la plupart des catégories est celle de Starfield de Bethesda Softworks, qui n’a reçu qu’une seule nomination dans la meilleure catégorie de jeu de rôle.

Les Game Awards seront diffusés en direct le 7 décembre depuis le Microsoft Theater à Los Angeles. Outre les prix, Keighley est également censé présenter de nombreuses bandes-annonces de jeux vidéo. Bien que 2023 ait été une année indéniablement chargée en sorties de jeux vidéo de qualité, elle a également été une année difficile pour l’industrie et ses travailleurs. Plus de 6 000 personnes ont été licenciées de leur emploi dans l’industrie des jeux vidéo cette année.
